Rental SUV stolen during armed robbery in Hamilton

Hamilton police are searching for two suspects after an armed robbery on Hamilton Mountain.

Police say shortly after midnight Wednesday, two men approached a victim in the area of Queen Victoria Drive and Quail Drive.

The suspects, who were armed with a knife, stole some personal property from the victim and the rental keys to a 2017 red Jeep Cherokee before driving away with the vehicle.

The victim was not injured during the robbery.

The suspects are both described as white men. One of the men appeared to be in his 20s and was wearing dark clothing.

Police are warning residents that if you see this vehicle, do not approach it and call 911.
