Remembering the life of a young Priest

A funeral mass was held at St. Alfred’s church in St. Catharines Thursday to remember the life of a young priest. Father Trevor Plug was only 32-years-old, but he was already considered a trail-blazer in the Catholic church.

Born with Spina bifida, Trevor spent his life in a wheelchair, breaking many barriers to become ordained. Last Tuesday he died unexpectedly of natural causes while vacationing in British Columbia.

Trevor leaves behind his parents Kathi and Arthur and his brother Zachary.
