Metrolinx, the company behind GO Transit, says GO Train service is expected to fully resume on Saturday morning.
Service on the Lakeshore West line continues to be a 60-minute service without express trips to Toronto’s Union Station.
On Friday, between 5 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., Metrolinx says that trains will be held at stations so everyone can board. This means some trains may arrive at their destinations later than expected.
However, due to decreased service, trains may be busier than usual.
Train service was disrupted Monday, when a Kitchener-bound train hit a switch. How the train hit the switch still hasn’t been revealed.
Visit the GO Transit website for full GO Train schedules or GO Tracker for live trip times.
