Every year, March 31 is dedicated to celebrating people who are transgender, while raising awareness about the discrimination they continue to face.

The Well Hamilton, located at 161 Wellington St., is hosting several trans entertainers Friday night to celebrate International Transgender Day of Visibility .

Singer and vocal impersonator Christina Vegas is headlining the event. For the last 20 years, she has been performing around the world, on cruise ships and U.S. tours.

Vegas will be joined by comedians Al Val and Rae Lockdust with several other acts on the bill.

Tickets are $20 per person and the show runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
