Quebec man arrested in serious assault in Niagara Falls

A Quebec man has been arrested after an argument turned violent at a home in Niagara Falls.
Emergency crews were called to a house in the area of Lamont Ave. and Mundare Cresc. around 3 a.m. on Sunday.
Police located a man in his 40s suffering from a serious head injury.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to a local hospital before being transported to an out-of-region hospital.
Investigators learned the two men had been involved in an argument that escalated and the victim was struck with a kitchen stool.
Sebastien Joseph Picard, 32, is charged with aggravated assault.
