Pumpkinfest

Gourley Park on Hamilton Mountain was bustling this afternoon for the 22nd Annual Pumpkinfest.
The park was packed with activities including a petting zoo, pony rides, and candy toss. The main event was the costume contest. The competition was judged by a few special guests including; outgoing ward 8 councillor Terry Whitehead who was elected as the new ward 14 councillor, Hamilton Mountain MPP Monique Taylor, Hamilton Mountain MP Scott Duval, and ward 8 councillor elect John-Paul Danko. Together, they had the task of handing out prizes to participants.
With all the fun things to do at the park, everyone felt like a winner.
All of the events at the park were free today. Donations for “Neighbour to Neighbour Food Bank” were also accepted.
