Prime Minister’s Office evacuated

In Ottawa, police arrested a man who tried to deliver a suitcase-sized package to the building that houses the Prime Minister’s offices.

Prime Minister Harper was not in the building at the time, he was on Parliament Hill. But police say the building was evacuated as a precaution and traffic in the area was blocked off. An explosives unit from Ottawa police was also called to the scene. Police aren’t releasing many details right now. But more information is expected Thursday.
