Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has tested positive for COVID-19 for a second time this year.
In a Tweet, Trudeau says he will be following public health guidelines and isolating.
“I feel okay, but that’s because I got my shots,” said Trudeau in a Tweet. “So, if you haven’t, get vaccinated- and if you can, get boosted. let’s protect our healthcare system, each other and ourselves.”
Trudeau recently returned to Canada from Los Angeles where he attended the Summit of Americas. He was scheduled to appear at a garden party for Liberal party donors in Ottawa Monday night.
The Prime Minister tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time at the end of January after one of his children tested positive.
