WATCH: Premiers Doug Ford, Danielle Smith sign a trade agreement

Ontario Premier Doug Ford is holding a press conference with his Alberta counterpart at the Calgary Stampede to sign a trade agreement on Monday at 11 a.m. EST.
The premiers signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on energy and trade between the provinces.
Ford and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith met on Sunday in Calgary for a roundtable discussion.
“At today’s roundtable in Calgary with Premier Danielle Smith, we discussed how we can build new pipelines, rail lines and ports that will help us export Canadian critical minerals and energy to new customers around the world,” Ford said in a post on X after the meeting.
Ontario signed a memorandum with Manitoba premier Wab Kinew in May to boost the movement of goods between the neighbouring provinces.
