Premiers demand probe into missing aboriginal women

(Video updated) Canada’s premiers are calling for a national inquiry into missing aboriginal women and girls. Kathleen Wynne made the announcement at the premiers summit in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

“There was support from the premiers in the room for the aboriginal organizations’ call for a national public inqury into violence against aboriginal women and girls… the issue has touched every one of our jurisdictions and is extremely important to us.”
