Pot bust in Stoney Creek

Hamilton police officers seized $30,000 worth of marijuana and more than $5,000 in cash from a Stoney Creek apartment Wednesday.

Police say the bust on Barton Street East was part of an investigation involving members of a street gang who call themselves the “Front Line Bloods”.

Two alleged members of the gang 21 year old Samnith Khoun and 24 year old Samnang Khoun have been charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and proceeds of crime over $5,000.

Hamilton police said the bust was not connected to a separate set of raids across the GTA Wednesday that resulted in the arrest of 18 people and “numerous” charges but do say that more information on those raids will be revealed Thursday.
