Porter Airlines announced new routes and increased frequencies of existing trips Friday as part of its 2026 schedule update.
The airline is introducing six new routes across John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM), Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Ottawa International Airport (YOW), starting in May.
Hamilton will be seeing new connections to St. John’s and Winnipeg starting May 15.
The airline also announced it would increase its capacity for existing seasonal domestic markets, with Hamilton’s route to Halifax doubling in weekly flights.
The flight from Hamilton to Fort Lauderdale has also been extended through the summer, increasing its frequency to twice weekly.
“Our overall network is growing by 20%, the fastest rate for any airline in North America, as we continue providing service for more passengers,” said Porter Airlines vice president Andrew Pierce in a statement.
The airline says passengers can expect flights with no middle seats, complimentary wine and beer — served in glassware — and premium snacks.
Routes operating with the Embraer E196-E2 model plane, which can carry over 120 passengers, will also offer free Wi-Fi.
