Port Colborne’s Clarence Street Bridge will be closed for two months while repairs are carried out.
The closure will begin this Saturday morning and last until March 14. This will impact pedestrians and vehicles.
The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation made the announcement this week to coincide with this weekend’s shutdown of the Welland Canal.
It also announced that after March 14, there will be daytime closures from March 17 to March 19.
Construction on Bridge 21 will take place 24 hours a day, seven days a week which may cause noise disturbances.
