Police seek information about Brant man missing since 1996

A man from Brant County who went missing nearly 30 years ago is still the subject of a missing person investigation.

Robert William Commu was 29 years old when he was last seen on March 31, 1996 in South Dumfries Township.

After Commu did not show up for work, police went to his house and found the door open with his dog inside.

Police have received reports that Commu may have been seen with two men in a pickup truck in the days before he disappeared.

Commu is described as six-feet tall, 180 lbs, with blue eyes and long brown hair. He also has a tattoo of a lion with wings on his upper right arm.

He was last seen wearing a white leather jacket with black sleeves and a red maple leaf on the back.
