Police seize $213K worth of drugs from two homes in Hamilton

Police have seized more than $213,000 worth of drugs and several weapons from two homes in Hamilton.

Members of the Vice and Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Greeningdon Dr. on Wednesday.

Officers found three replica firearms, a revolver, a loaded modified bolt action rifle, a prohibited knife and a number of illegal drugs including cocaine and methamphetamine.

Police say the estimated street value of the drugs seized is more than $130,000.

Thirty-one-year-old Adam Start, of Hamilton, is facing several charges.

Police also executed a search warrant at a home on Cannon St.

Officers seized a large quantity of cash, ammunition, oxycodone pills and marijuana.

Matthew Fletcher, 41, Isaiah Fletcher, 21, and a 44-year-old woman are facing drug-related charges. Police say the woman’s name is not being released until the matter is heard before the courts.
