Police seek witnesses after three-year-old struck and killed in Cambridge

Police in Cambridge are asking witnesses to come forward after a three-year-old girl was struck and killed by a car Thursday afternoon.

A 31-year-old woman who was with her was seriously injured as well.

Police say the pair were walking near the Westgate Centre Plaza on Cedar Street just before 1 p.m. when the collision took place.

The child had life-threatening injuries, and died in hospital.

The 75-year-old man who was driving the vehicle was not injured.

Investigators are asking anyone with information, or anyone who saw something to get in touch.
