Police seek third suspect after assault on Stoney Creek Mountain

Hamilton police have arrested two people and are searching for a third following an assault on Stoney Creek Mountain.

The assault happened on Sunday between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. in the area of the Heritage Green Shopping Center at 1797 Stone Church Rd. East.

Police say three male suspects assaulted two people in a parking lot before getting into a black Honda Civic and fleeing the area.

Officers were able to find the vehicle in question and arrested two suspects, but the third remains outstanding.

Police continue to investigate this assault and appeal to the public for help in identifying the third suspect.
