Police seek suspect in Brantford shooting that hospitalized a man

Brantford police are looking for a suspect following a shooting that left a 29-year-old man in hospital Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded around 3 p.m. to the area of Bowery Rd. where paramedics were treating the man suffering from one gunshot wound.

The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have not identified the suspect at this time.

Investigators are currently at the scene asking residents for video surveillance footage between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday.
