Police from across Ontario gathered at Queen’s Park Sunday to honour officers who have died in the line of duty.
The 16th annual Ceremony of Remembrance began with all 257 names on the Ontario Police Memorial being read aloud.
Police bagpipes led a march around Queen’s Park crescent to the Ontario Legislature before the start of the ceremony.
Premier Kathleen Wynne and Lieutenant Govenor, Elizabeth Dowdeswall were at the event.
Three names were added to the memorial this year.
