Police release photos of man accused of sexual assaults on kids during 90s in GTHA

Authorities have released new photos of a man who was arrested earlier this month in connection to a series of “historical sexual assaults on children.”
They say that the assaults took place between 1992 and 1995 and spanned the Halton, Peel and Waterloo regions.
Richard Neil, 64, was first arrested on March 3 and was charged with 20 criminal charges, including:
- Kidnapping;
- Uttering death threats;
- Sexual assault;
- Sexual assault with a weapon;
- Sexual interference;
- Invitation to sexual touching;
- Administering noxious thing with intent, and;
- Forcible confinement.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with any information to contact the Peel Regional Police’s special victims unit at 905-453-2121, ext. 3460.
