Police make arrest in break in at Lake House Restaurant in Lincoln

A 32-year-old man is facing charges following a break in at a popular restaurant in Lincoln.

Police were called to the Lake House Restaurant at 3100 North Service Rd. just after 2 a.m. on Jan. 27.

Investigators learned a man had smashed the glass on the front door of the building and entered the restaurant.

He proceeded to steal several items from the fridge and damaged the cash register before he fled the area.

Grimsby detectives were able to identify the truck that had been used in the break in was stolen.

Jeremy Boyer, of Niagara Falls, was arrested and faces two counts of break and enter and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.
