Police looking for St. Catharines man accused of past sexual assault

Niagara police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who is accused of the sexual assault of a young girl.

Investigators say the accused is 20-year-old Charlie Ryan of St. Catharines who is being accused of sexual interference and sexual assault.

Officers say the young girl was known to the accused.

Ryan’s location is currently unknown to police and investigators are hoping for the public’s help in finding him.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service’s Child Abuse Unit at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1008430.

Members of the community who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477(TIPS). Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to people who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
