Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders appealed to witnesses today to come forward to help investigators arrest those responsible for two shooting deaths at Muzik nightclub last week.
Twenty-three-year-old Duvel Hibbert, of Brampton, and 26-year-old Ariela Navarro-Fenoy, from Toronto, died last week after shots were fired at the club in downtown Toronto.
Hibbert was found inside the club, while Navarro-Fenoy was found outside the venue where thousands were partying. Three others were hurt.
Police have released descriptions of two persons of interest in the case.
The first man is described black, about six-feet tall, 25-26 years old with a buzzcut. He was wearing a purple sweater with a colourful design on the front and dark jeans.
The second man is described as having brown skin, is about 5’10, 24-28 years-old. He was wearing a yellow and burgundy plaid button-up shirt.
The event was the official after-party for Drake’s OVO Fest but it’s not known whether the musician was in the club when shots were fired.
Police are asking anyone who may have photos or videos from the event to send them to investigators.
