Police investigating Flamborough gas station armed robbery

Hamilton police are investigating an armed robbery at an Esso gas station early Friday morning in Flamborough.
The robbery occurred at approximately 3:50 a.m. at the Esso gas station on Highway 6 north of Safari Road.
Officers say a man entered the store with a firearm and demanded cash before fleeing on foot.
Authorities describe the man as five-foot-eight and white with a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue vest with a hood, blue pants and brown safety boots. Police say the man’s face was covered with a blue cloth and he wore a baseball cap with no logo.
The man was last seen heading southbound on foot.
Investigators are asking drivers in the area to check their dashcam footage for anyone walking on Highway 6 between the hours 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.
