Police investigate sudden death on Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton police remain at a townhouse on Upper Wentworth Street where they say they were called for a sudden death at around 11 p.m. Saturday night.

Officers are investigating in one of the units in a townhouse complex on Upper Wentworth Street between Stone Church and Rymal roads.

People in the area say a police presence is common and they are not surprised to see increased presence.

Police say they will continue to hold the scene as they wait for the results of an autopsy scheduled for some time later Monday. That will help them determine whether the death was suspicious or not.
