Police investigate fatal crash in Niagara Falls

Emergency crews were called to the area of Mountain Rd. and the southbound QEW off-ramp around 4 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say a 24-year-old woman from Mississauga was driving on the off-ramp when she tried to turn onto Mountain Rd. eastbound.

Police say a dump truck, which was travelling westbound on Mountain Rd., collided with the vehicle.

The Mississauga woman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Her passenger, a 25-year-old man from Mississauga, suffered minor injuries.
