Police investigate after 6 Pride flags stolen on Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton police are investigating after Pride flags were stolen from residences and schools across the city.

Officers say they received reports of six Pride flags being stolen from two homes and four Catholic schools on the Hamilton Mountain.

Investigators say it is unclear whether the thefts are connected.

Police say hate crime is unacceptable as it can negatively affect communities.
