A 21-year-old Hamilton man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly aimed a firearm at someone Saturday evening.

Police say a person was walking their dog in the area of Neil Ave. and Centennial Parkway around 7 p.m. when a man exited a home, started yelling and pointed a firearm at the dog walker.

Responding officers chased after the man who ran into a Vietnamese restaurant called Pho Dui Bo located at 800 Queenston Rd.

Devan Frank Butler has been charged with 11 offences, including unauthorized possession of a firearm and assault, among others.

Officers say Butler’s bail was opposed.
