More police in Blue Mountain area

More police officers will be on the ground in the Blue Mountain area.

The town outside Collingwood has inked a new $2.6 million deal with the OPP, brining 15 officers to police the area.

The new contract is $290,000 more expensive than the last one. OPP officials say part of the increase is because officers will now enforce the town’s bylaws.
