Police arrest married couple accused of being ‘money mules’ in CRA scam

The RCMP say they have arrested two “money mules” involved in pervasive scams often generated out of illegal call centres in India.

The fraudsters pose as authorities and threaten victims in order to get them to hand over money.

The accused are a married couple from Brampton.
