Police arrest man in connection with theft in Niagara Falls

Niagara police arrested a man in relation to a theft in Niagara Falls.

On Feb. 9, 2022 at around 11:57 p.m., officers responded to reports of a break and enter in progress in the area of Garner Road and Mcloed Road.

Police say the man was attempting to steal a catalytic converter, but he fled on foot northbound towards Emily Boulevard once officers arrived.

Police say the man was eventually caught by officers.

Police say they seized 10 saw blades and three Dewalt battery chargers. K9 was also utilized for an article search leading officers to a yellow Dewalt Compactor.

Adam Knight, 37, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with trespassing at night, possession of break in instruments, theft under $5,000 and possession of a firearm, weapon or ammunition.
