The Philadelphia Eagles have won Super Bowl LIX, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 40 – 22.

The Kansas City Chiefs were playing in their fifth Super Bowl in six years.

Much of the pre-game hype focused on a potential “3-beat” victory, but the Eagles dominated in New Orleans winning their second Super Bowl in franchise history.

The Eagles had their first Super Bowl win in 2018.

Following the game, mayhem broke out in Philadelphia Sunday night as Eagles fans took to the streets to celebrate.

Police were called to clear the crowds after fans began setting towels and sheets on fire.

No injuries were reported and police have not said if any arrests were made related to the fire.
