Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine supply limited in Hamilton starting today

The city of Hamilton says as of today (Dec. 21) the Pfizer BioNTech mRNA COVID-19 vaccine supply will be limited across all Hamilton COVID-19 vaccine clinics.
In a press release yesterday, the city says Pfizer will be reserved for individuals under the age of 30 for first, second and third doses until further notice.
Individuals over the age of 30 will be offered the Moderna mRNA COVID-19 vaccine instead.
The city says mixing Pfizer and Modern vaccines is safe and effective. It says it is working with the province to get more Pfizer vaccines.
