It was homecoming for the Marauders Saturday at McMaster University where they squared off with Queens
Queens put up a good fight but they couldn’t contain Chris Pezzetta. The running-back has been on the shelf due to injury for the past two years and he made the most of the occasion.
He recorded 54 yards on 24 carries for 1 touchdown, helping the McMaster improve to 5-0 with the 28-19 win.
Afterwards an emotional Pezzetta, who was named MVP spoke about the game.
“It was a pretty surreal moment, I mean. You know there’s lots of doubts when you’re off football for two years, it was just nice to know that I could get a second chance to help our team win.”
