People’s Climate March trudges through Toronto for climate change

The People’s Climate March drew hundreds wanting to protect their rights to clean air, water, land and healthy communities in downtown Toronto.

The event was held in solidarity with the march in Washington.

Participants are demanding politicians work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and curb climate change.

Over 370 sister marches took place around the world.
