Pedestrian in critical condition after being hit by car in Hamilton

A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Hamilton on Sunday night.
The collision happened after 6 p.m. near Barton Street and Balsam Avenue North.
Hamilton police say it’s alleged that a 32-year-old man was pushed onto the street and then hit by the car. The driver remained on scene.
Police have confirmed that some of the people involved in the incident were also in an alteration at Sunday night’s Forge FC game that resulted in them being kicked out.
Police say a fight restarted outside of the stadium with around four or five individuals against one person. Police are still investigating if the injured pedestrian fell or was pushed.
