Pedestrian hit by car

A woman is in hospital after a crash in a plaza on Hamilton Mountain.

The incident happened in front of the Metro store on Upper Gage and Fennell Avenue Tuesday night.

Police say a 71-year old woman from Hamilton was hit by a car being driven by a 59-year old Hamilton man.

She suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital in critical condition.

No charges have been laid.
