Pathstone Mental Health receives largest single donation

Pathstone Mental Health received its largest single donation from two philanthropists.

Philanthropists Greg and Dianne Slaight are giving $2 million to the mental health agency. The money will help reduce wait lists, help with staffing at Pathstone’s newest site in Welland and support research and education.

The Slaight’s are also challenging others in Niagara to also donate to Pathstone. The agency needs to raise $4 million annually to support additional programs, services and staff.

The community-based organization has 570 children and teens waiting to be placed in a program.
