Passenger and driver killed after car hits stone wall on Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton police continue to investigate a Saturday morning double fatality on Hamilton’s Mountain’s Claremont Access after a car hit a stone wall.

The driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews. Their names have not yet been released.

Police say the vehicle was heading up Claremont Access around 3:10 a.m. when it collided with the wall.

The Access was closed for several hours for the investigation.

Police are asking anyone in the area with surveillance cameras or who may have witnessed the collision to contact 905-546-4753.
