Parishioners of burned church vow to rebuild

Parishioners of St. Elias Parish in Brampton are vowing to rebuild their church after it was burned to the ground by a fire Saturday morning.

The community gathered at a nearby school in Brampton Sunday morning to pray.

Because of the extent of damage, the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is now investigating the cause of the fire. The cause has not yet been determined.
