Burlington’s political leaders showed up to support the opening of one of the fastest growing middle eastern restaurants in North America.  Burlington Mayor Rick Goldring, MPP Indira Naidoo-Harris along with several city councillors joined founder Mohamad Fakih and franchise owners Nader and Maher Obeid and Jason Rapazzo for the ribbon cutting ceremony for their new Paramount Fine Foods restaurant on Appleby Line in Burlington.  Paramount Fine Foods now has 36 locations across Canada with plans to have 60 restaurants operational around the world by the end of this year. All restaurants have been certified Halal by the ISNA Halal Certification Agency.
