Pakistan high court has suspended Imran Khan conviction

A Pakistani court suspended former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s recent conviction on corruption charges today, but it will not lead to his release – as a judge has ordered his detention in another case.

The entire ordeal, which began months ago, sent Khan supporters to the streets in protest, and even led to deaths.
