Ottawa Remembrance Day ceremony

In Ottawa Monday, thousands gathered under wet and snowy skies, at the National War Memorial.   “The Last Post” rang out over the chilly downtown, introducing the minute of silence.   Governor General David Johnston and Prime Minister Harper laid wreaths at the foot of the memorial. Afterwards, hundreds placed their poppies on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
