The Toronto Blue Jays may not have won the World Series, but an Oshawa man is grinning from ear to ear after claiming the largest jackpot in Major League Baseball history.
‘Aric’– surnamed disclosed — was declared at noon today the winner of $25,010,057 in the Jays Care 50/50 World Series’ raffle. The unofficial winning number was 867814466.
The lottery is part of the charitable arm of the Blue Jays and is open to residents of Ontario and Nova Scotia.
Founded in 1992, the Jays Care Foundation focuses on helping kids of all backgrounds and abilities to play baseball, and other sports and recreational activities.
