Ornge Sikorsky S76 helicopters back in flight

Ornge has announced it’s returning its Sikorsky S76 helicopters to service, after a fatal accident in Moosonee last Friday.

Ornge temporarily grounded its five S76 choppers after one carrying four crew hit the ground and caught fire. The transportation safety board continues to investigate the accident, but didn’t raise any concerns about the helicopters.

Staff across the province continue to mourn the loss of the four crew who died in the crash, including flight paramedic Chris Snowball from Burlington.
