Opposition renews cover-up claims
Updated It was a rough day for the government of new premier Kathleen Wynne.
It’s already facing accusations of a billion-dollar cover-up over the cost of cancelled power plants. Many pundits believe avoiding more questions on the plants was the reason Dalton McGuinty prorogued the legislature, so today’s revelation of more documents had the opposition pouncing. Al Sweeney reports those allegations were fuelled again today by the government’s own actions.
