OPP investigates after $100K worth of chocolate stolen in Norfolk County

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a massive chocolate heist in Norfolk County.

Police were contacted around 3 p.m. on Monday about a theft from a business on Vittoria Rd.

Investigators discovered someone had stolen a transport truck and trailer from the business on Saturday.

The trailer was full of Hershey’s and Ferrero Rocher chocolate valued at roughly $100,000.

The truck was later located in Peel Region however the trailer and chocolate are still outstanding.

Police are currently reviewing video surveillance footage from the area in hopes of identifying those responsible for the theft.
