A man has died and others have been injured in a crash on Highway 6, south of Hagersville, Ont. on Thursday evening.

Ontario Provincial Police in Haldimand County say that at around 4:45 p.m. Thursday they responded to a crash on Highway 6 between Haldimand Road 55 and Concession 10 Walpole.

Investigators say a 28-year-old man of Simcoe, Ont. died and an unspecified number of people who were also in the crash were brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers held the scene until about 2 a.m. Friday morning.

Authorities continue to investigate this crash.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from the area around the time of the crash is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
