The Ontario Court of Appeals has upheld the sexual assault conviction of former Hamilton YouTuber Jack Densmore.
In a video posted on his Instagram, a day before the decision, Densmore, who was also known as “Denmo,” maintained his innocence.
He wanted the sexual assault verdict withdrawn and a new jury trial ordered.
The court dismissed the appeal Monday, finding the trial judge had properly reviewed the evidence.
The ruling means Densmore must serve his three-year prison sentence from his July 2024 trial.

During that trial, the court heard Densmore used his phone to record what he called a “consent video” but the victim said it was an attempt to record a sex video.
The judge then found Densmore had forced intercourse with the woman.
After his conviction, YouTube shut down Densmore’s four channels for policy violations.
A YouTube spokesperson said in a statement, “If a YouTube creator’s on- and/or off-platform behavior harms our users, community, employees or ecosystem, we may respond based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the egregiousness of their actions and whether a pattern of harmful behavior exists. Our response will range from suspending a creator’s privileges to account termination.”
