Ontario’s Auditor General releases report

A “culture of entitlement” is driving your hydro rates up. That’s according to Ontario’s Auditor General. Bonnie Lysik released her first annual report on government spending Tuesday afternoon and while she had concerns about everything from the condition of provincial parks to the number of doctors in the province, the most glaring examples of public servants helping themselves to our tax dollars came from Ontario Power Generation, the government corporation that provides our electricity.
